There are five principles that go into an effective logo design:
Always remember K.I.S.S. Keep It Simple, Stupid. A simple logo is recognizable, functional and unforgettable.
To be distinctive and memorable is the ultimate goal. Conclusively this is achieved by a simple, appropriate logo.
Trends come and go, longevity is key. Will your logo still be effective in 20 years?
Can it be printed in one color? Reverse color? Small? Large? Starting the design process in black and white will make sure your logo looks good in its cleanest form.
The logo should be appropriate for its intended audience. A logo does not need to explain what a company does, but font and color scheme should match the industry.
We look forward to helping you design or redesign an effective logo!
